Created for Maison Eau de Couture in collaboration with perfumer Giuseppe Imprezzabile (Meo Fusciuni), this composition is a statement about love, memory, and the invisible bond that transcends time. It is not a nostalgic fragrance, but an authentic one — a way of saying: remember to love. The inspiration comes from a simple gesture: the tiramisu prepared by Meo’s mother. Yet Memento Amoris does not recreate a dessert. Instead, it translates what it represents — tenderness, patience, and generosity.
The opening is delicate and balanced, with amaretto, sweet and bitter almonds, and a savoiardi biscuit accord, without excessive sweetness. The heart moves into a deeper and more textured dimension: coffee absolute, cocoa absolute, osmanthus, magnolia, and iris create a dense, authentic, and artistic accord. The base reveals a sophisticated woody structure where cedarwood, sandalwood, patchouli, ambergris, musk, and cashmeran are enriched by vanilla absolute and labdanum, resulting in a warm, animalic, and deeply human signature.
