Ritual and materiality come together in Jardin de Pierre, a fragrance inspired by ancient gestures repeated over time without losing their power: incense burning in a temple in the Far East, leather handcrafted in an African village, evening prayers recited in a mountain monastery. All these images converge in an intense, almost austere composition, yet one filled with warmth and depth.
Cardamom opens the fragrance with a distinct spicy tension, followed by the contrast between robust leather and radiant jasmine. In the base, amber, patchouli and musk add depth and longevity, creating a dense, warm and well-defined olfactory texture on the skin. The name Jardin de Pierre, meaning “stone garden”, refers to Japanese gardens where moss grows over stones and gravel, evoking an image of resilience and permanence. In this creation by Gianluca Gariboldi, the oriental-woody olfactory family takes on a powerful and meditative character, suited to those who prefer fragrances with presence, structure and intensity.
